Their purpose is to study God's Word and have prayer and fellowship together knowing that God's Word is sharper than any two-edged sword (Heb. 4:12) and that we are to give attention to reading, exhortation, and doctrine (1 Tim. 4:13).

• discovering answers and guidance from God's Word
